Jetour Nigeria crowned auto brand of the year amid rapid market growth

Jetour Nigeria has been named Auto Brand of the Year at the 12th Nigeria Transport Lecture and Awards, reinforcing its growing influence in the country’s automotive industry.

The award was presented at the annual event organised by Transport Day Media at the Radisson Blu Hotel, Ikeja, Lagos, where key players in the transport, logistics and automotive sectors gathered to recognise organisations and individuals driving innovation and growth in Nigeria’s mobility industry.

The recognition comes amid Jetour Nigeria’s rapid expansion in the local market, driven by growing consumer acceptance of its vehicle lineup, technology-focused offerings and customer support services.

Publisher of Transport Day Media, Frank Kintum, said the company’s impact on Nigeria’s automotive market made it a deserving recipient of the award.

“The Jetour brand has made a remarkable impact on the Nigerian market since its introduction, and they have consistently sustained that momentum. It was therefore difficult to overlook the brand for this prestigious recognition,” Kintum said.

Jetour Nigeria is the sole authorised distributor of the global Jetour brand in the country, having been officially appointed by Jetour International in 2022 with exclusive rights to import, distribute and service the company’s full range of vehicles.

The company said its authorised distribution network guarantees customers access to genuine spare parts, factory-trained technicians and manufacturer-backed warranties, aimed at protecting consumers and improving ownership experience.

The latest recognition adds to a growing list of accolades for the company. At the 2026 Jetour Global Conference, Jetour Nigeria received the Market Share Leadership Award 2025, recognising it as the brand’s best-performing market in Africa.

The company has also previously won the Nigeria Auto Journalists Association (NAJA) New Entrant of the Year and Fastest Growing Auto Brand awards, while its Jetour Dashing model was named NAJA Car of the Year.

Jetour Nigeria’s expanding product portfolio includes a range of sport utility vehicles (SUVs), crossovers and hybrid models designed to meet the needs of different categories of motorists.

Its flagship G700 luxury off-roader features a Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle (PHEV) powertrain designed to deliver improved fuel efficiency and lower running costs.

Other models in its lineup include the X50, X70 Plus, X90 Plus, T1, T2, X70 PHEV and the award-winning Jetour Dashing.

To strengthen its nationwide presence, Jetour Nigeria operates through seven authorised dealership partners responsible for vehicle sales and after-sales services across the country.

The dealerships include Elizade Nigeria Limited, New Era Autovehicle Services Limited, Kojo Motors, Germaine Auto Centre, R.T. Briscoe Plc, TAB Autos Limited, and Mandilas Motors.

The company said the network is the only one officially recognised by both Jetour International and Jetour Nigeria to sell and service Jetour vehicles in Nigeria, as it continues to expand its footprint in Africa’s largest automotive market.
