The Head of the Civil Service of the Federation, Esther Walson-Jack, has clarified that the office space occupied by the alleged Presidential Foreign Intervention Promotion Council (PFIPC) at the Federal Secretariat in Abuja was officially allocated to the Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (OSGF).
Walson-Jack made the clarification on Monday while appearing before the House of Representatives ad hoc committee investigating the controversy surrounding the PFIPC and the N1.3 billion earmarked for the council in the 2026 Appropriation Act.
She explained to the lawmakers that the office in question was not assigned directly to the PFIPC but had been allocated to the OSGF, as the committee continued its investigation into the council’s operations and the budgetary provision made for it.
