A violent confrontation involving Palestinians erupted Saturday evening near Susya in the southern Chevron Hills, during which a Palestinian terrorist struck a 25-year-old Israeli soldier on leave in the head with a rock and stole his personal weapon, the IDF said.
Magen David Adom treated the soldier at the scene before evacuating him to Soroka Medical Center in Be’er Sheva in moderate and stable condition.
