Chelsea have completed the signing of promising young defender Harrison Bettoni from Wigan Athletic.
The 18-year-old has signed a contract that will keep him at Stamford Bridge until 2030 as the Blues continue to invest in emerging talent.
Bettoni enjoyed a breakthrough campaign with Wigan Athletic during the 2025/26 season, making 27 appearances for the club’s senior team. His impressive performances earned him a move to the Premier League side.
He made his senior debut in last season’s EFL Trophy, before a memorable first League One appearance against Wimbledon.
Bettoni will now hope to get regular playing game time under Chelsea manager Xabi Alonso this season.
