Governor Zulum Appoints 4 New Special Advisers, 1 Senior Technical Assistant

Borno state governor, Professor Babagana Umara Zulum, has approved the appointment of four Special Advisers and a Senior Technical Assistant, as part of efforts to strengthen governance and accelerate the post-insurgency recovery programme of his administration.

The newly appointed Special Advisers are Ali Goni Lawan, Ali Sheriff Galgal, Bukar Aliyu Daja, and Makinta M. Zarami. Governor Zulum also appointed Gujja Bukar Dalori as senior technical assistant on reconstruction.

The appointments were announced in a statement issued by the governor’s Special Adviser on Media, Dauda Iliya, who said they were made pursuant to the powers conferred on the Governor under Section 196(1) of the constitution.
