The lavish wedding, held in Warri, Delta State, on Saturday, July 25, attracted several celebrities, including Iyabo Ojo and Priscilla, who shared photos and videos from the event on social media.

Reacting in a video posted online, Lizzy Anjorin questioned why Iyabo attended the ceremony with her daughter, alleging that the pair only posed inside a private jet in Lagos, to create the impression that they flew privately to the event.

Without providing evidence to support her claims, Anjorin alleged that the aircraft never departed Lagos and accused Iyabo of attending the wedding because she was “broke” and in need of financial support.

“You travelled for a party just because you needed donations, just because you are broke and poor. That is why you have to travel with your daughter to the party. How many of them went to that party with their children?” she said.

The actress also dismissed suggestions from a follower that she was reacting out of frustration over not being invited to the event.

Responding to the allegation, Anjorin insisted she was not interested in social gatherings, describing herself as “a business person per excellence.”

“I am not a party person. I am a business person per excellence. If you see me at your party, you do not know what has done for you.

“That is why when I am hosting a party, I do not expect much from people. I don’t prepare for a crowd. The quality people might be just five or ten,” she said.

She concluded by taking another swipe at Iyabo, saying, “Must you go to that party, Iyabo Ojo? Go and get a job!”

As of the time of filing this report, Iyabo Ojo has not publicly responded to Lizzy Anjorin’s remarks.

The latest exchange adds to the long-standing rivalry between the two actresses, whose public disagreements have repeatedly made headlines over the years.
