In a move to further strengthen grassroots mobilization and political coordination, the Governor of Delta State, His Excellency Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori has approved the appointment of Hon Prince O Otemu Chief Executive Officer of DCISL/K&Q Oil Co as Executive Assistant to the Governor on Political Matters.
The appointment takes immediate effect and is in line with the Governor’s commitment to bringing experienced, passionate, and grassroots-oriented Deltans into government to drive the MORE Agenda.
Announcing his appreciation, Hon. Prince Otemu described the appointment as a “great opportunity and rare privilege” to serve the people of Delta State.
In a letter addressed to the Governor, he wrote.
“I want to sincerely and humbly thank His Excellency, Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori , Governor of Delta State, for this great opportunity and rare privilege to be considered to serve in this MORE Agenda administration.
As a young man whose passion and ardor to serve has been my enthusiasm, my commitment and dedication have always been to the people, especially those at the grassroots. I am indeed grateful to my working governor who has, through visionary leadership, changed the development narrative in Delta State.
“To my dear friends, associates, and well-wishers, I deeply appreciate you all for your prayers, support, and partnership.
This new assignment to serve my people once again as the Executive Assistant to the Governor on Political Matters is a call to greater service.
It is our collective position, our party’s mandate, and our assignment to deliver the Working Governor and other party candidates in 2027.
Together, we will continue to mobilize, sensitize, and consolidate support for the PDP and the MORE Agenda across all 25 Local Government Areas of Delta State.”
