A tragic incident has left students and residents of Uasin Gishu County mourning after a Kenya Medical Training College (KMTC) student reportedly died while spending the night at a guest house near Mosombor Trading Centre.
The deceased has been identified as 25-year-old Sharon Nyongesa, who was undertaking her medical attachment at a health facility in the area.
The man is said to have sought help immediately after noticing her condition, prompting efforts to rush her to a nearby medical facility.
However, healthcare workers at the clinic reportedly confirmed that she had already passed away before receiving treatment. The incident has since attracted the attention of investigators, who are working to determine the exact circumstances surrounding her death.
