U.S.-led talks between Israel and Lebanon will resume in Rome from August 4–6, a State Department official said.
Technical teams will work on expanding the pilot-zone process in southern Lebanon, resolving outstanding border issues, and advancing a comprehensive peace and security agreement.
The official said the pilot zones are intended to restore Lebanese state authority through the verifiable disarmament of terrorist organizations and build momentum toward lasting peace.
