Justice Faruku Hassan Bunza of the Kebbi State High Court has been abducted by suspected bandits at his residence in Bunza Local Government Area of the state.
The incident happened on Sunday at the judge’s home located along Zogirma Road in Bunza.
Reports said the gunmen struck shortly after Justice Bunza returned from an official trip to Sokoto State.
“He had just returned from Sokoto when the gunmen stormed his residence and took him away,” a source told The Leader Nigeria.
The source added that, although nobody in the house was hurt, the attackers were shooting sporadically before moving away with him.
The Police Public Relations Officer, Kebbi State Command, SP Bashir Usman, confirmed the abduction.
